about

This track is DAN's first response to this correspondence (plus original/sampled audio):

It has taken a while to train this pigeon to return to you sounds.

The skies have been so blue. I imagine the trips back and forth as this pigeon learned the route from my home to yours was quite a sight, and the air fresh and crisp as vehicular traffic has decreased, and factories have shuttered.

Aside from fear and hopelessness the task of listening to your postcard was oppressive -not because you are oppressive or music is oppressive, but the need to MAKE SOMETHING was a burden. But then I played your sounds and then recorded my sounds and instead of returning it to you I put it on the Internet.

In its place I am sending you other sounds from my Voice. Performed as a response to my listening/response to you, an extension of sounding from our first track for this physically distant album we are now making.
